Broken Arrow Sophomores Take PSAT Oct. 10, Juniors/Seniors Participate in Virtual Day

All sophomores are required to take the free PSAT/NMSQT exam from 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Broken Arrow High School.

This is a practice exam for the National Merit Scholarship program and the SAT exam that all students will take during their junior year. PSAT results will be received by January and all students will be given an individualized practice program to increase their scores for the SAT.

Current juniors who are interested in taking the PSAT for National Merit eligibility must sign up in the main office before Oct. 1 and pay $16. Juniors who qualify for a fee waiver because of previous high scores have received a letter at home regarding the fee waiver. Juniors who take the PSAT will be excused from their virtual assignments that day.

On Oct. 10 while sophomores are taking the PSAT, juniors and seniors will participate in a virtual day and will complete assignments via their Chromebooks.

To prepare for the PSAT, students can visit to access practice tests. For more information, please contact Dr. Kim Garrett, 918-259-4715.
