ScotFest, Oklahoma’s BIGGEST Celtic Cultural Celebration begins its big INVASION of Broken Arrow on September 14th! Come and celebrate your Celtic heritage with 10 bands on two stages, including crowd favorites the “Wicked Tinkers” and straight from 20 years at Walt Disney World’s Canada Pavilion, “Off Kilter”, both with killer pub/pipe rock. For those looking for more traditional music, experience our Celtic Heritage Folk Stage with favorites “Flowers of Edinburgh” and “Colin Grant-Adams.” Plus, Scottish comedian Luke Ashlocke.
All day Saturday, attendees can enjoy the best of the best in Scottish Highland Athletics as ScotFest 2018 hosts the IHGF Women’s World Championship for the first time in Oklahoma. More than 150 athletes from around the world migrate to Tulsa to compete in games like the caber toss, sheaf toss and the hammer throw. World Class pipe bands will grace the grounds throughout Saturday with the enchanting sounds of the Highland Bagpipes. Alongside the games and pipers you’ll find more than 40 clans, where you can learn about your lineage.
Add to that a 3-day live rugby tournament, a bustling kids glen and most importantly WHISKY! There will be four whisky tastings over the three days and nights. You can’t forget the food; there’s a full food court this year with more than 10 food vendors bringing you everything from haggis to sausage rolls or for those who have a more “American” palate, we have food trucks offering barbecue, gyros, tacos and more.
And to help you dress and decorate with your clan colors or just to help you live out your Outlander dreams, our vendor marketplace features more than 100 of the best merchants of celtic goods in the United States.
ScotFest will be held September 14-16th in Broken Arrow’s brand-new Events Park, adjacent to Northeastern State.
