The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse is excited to present “The Comedy of Errors” by William Shakespeare, adapted for our stage by Director R. Channing Reynolds.
Performances will be held February 9 – 11, 16 – 18. Showtimes for Friday and Saturday are 7:30 PM and Sunday at 2 PM.

The Broken Arrow Community Playhouse is excited to start out 2018 with this new updated Shakespearean tale “The Comedy of Errors.” Director R. Channing Reynolds has adapted this classic play by William Shakespeare and brought it to a present day American big city. Expect some twists and surprises that will make this version of “The Comedy of Errors” like none other you have experienced to date!
The Comedy of Errors tells the story of two sets of identical twins that were accidentally separated at birth. Antipholus of Syracuse and servant, Dromio of Syracuse, arrive in town, which turns out to be the home of their twin siblings, Antipholus of New York and servant, Dromio of New York. When the Syracusans encounter the friends and families of their twins, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities lead to wrongful beatings, a near-seduction, an arrest, along with false accusations of infidelity, theft, madness, and demonic possession.
Director R. Channing Reynolds has over 30 years’ experience as an Actor, Writer, Producer, Teacher and as a professionally trained Director in Film, Television, Drama, Comedy, Farce, Shakespeare, Musicals and specializing in adaptations and original work. A stellar cast of BACP veterans and newcomers tackle this classic tale. The cast includes: Chester Beebe, Will Benzel, Gerald Carter, Tami Sue Ellis, Cathy Hunter, Alexis Kelty, Patricia Lyle, Miriam Mills, Traci Ragge, Tim Turner, Ariel White and Racheal Yadon. Assistant Director Camie Hayes and Stage Manager Julia Chapman assist.
