The Museum Broken Arrow is kicking off another season of the popular book club series, “Let’s Talk About It, Oklahoma!” It’s open to anyone who loves to read and discuss books!
The theme is Oklahoma Private Investigations. The best crime and mystery novels are situated in “place.” As you will see from these varied plots, mystery and investigation stories find a ready home in Oklahoma and provide a window on the character of the state. A scholar from the region will come to the museum to lead the discussion of each book.
During the series, members will read and discuss the following five books:
“The Old Buzzard Had it Coming” – Scholar Dr. Cowlishaw; “Letter from Home” – Scholar Russell Lawson; “Capitol Offense” – Scholar Dr. Christopher Owen; “Twisted Perception” – Dr. Andrew Vassar; “American Cafe” – Trisha Yarbrough
“Let’s Talk About It, Oklahoma!” will be held the first Thursday of each month, February – June, at 6:30p. Meetings will be held at The Museum (400 S. Main St).
Space is limited, so please stop by The Museum to register today. For questions, please call Lori Lewis at 918.258.2616. Books will be provided for all registered participants. Books must be returned each month. Please read the book prior to the program.
