May Farmers Market Features Broken Arrow Rose Festival

The Broken Arrow Rose Festival is back in conjunction with the Farmers Market on Saturday, May 6. In addition to your favorite market vendors, the May market will also have live music and food trucks! Scheduled thus far are Andolini’s, Boone’s BBQ, Bon Cheri, and Shiner’s Popcorn. There will also be children’s activities sponsored by First United Methodist Church.
You’ll be able to view the winning entries from the Rose Art Contest and meet the winners at the awards ceremony at 1p!
You can also check out all of the beautiful entries in the Rose Show! If you’re not much of a gardener, you can learn. Visit with the Tulsa Rose Society or the Master Gardeners; both will have booths at the event.
Before the Rose Festival, you can participate in the Plant a Rose project! Visit one of four area nurseries (Roses Inc, Sanders, Southwood, Colebrook) and sign up for rose classes and even purchase rose bushes at a discount from April 17 – 23. Our goal is to encourage everyone in BA to plant a rose! This project is sponsored by First National Bank.
Special thanks to Rose Festival sponsors: BACVB, BA Community Foundation, Blueprint Advertising, First National Bank, Lexus of Tulsa, and Mabrey Bank.
