Broken Arrow Wrestlers Attend Top Tournament in Ohio

This weekend, the Broken Arrow Tigers will compete in the top wrestling tournament in the country, the Welsh IronMan in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The tournament plays host to 95 schools from across the country, including 15 of the top 50.

“You learn a lot about yourself at the IronMan,” said BAHS coach Shawn Jones. “You can come in thinking you’re pretty good, lose a couple of matches and see that you still need to get better.”

Friday’s matches are slated to begin at noon, central standard time, with Saturday action starting at 9 a.m. (CST).

The Tiger lineup for the Walsh IronMan includes: Blake Gonzales (106), Tyler Lawley (113), Brady Mattioda (120), TaJuan Daniels (126), Dillon Wingo (132), Caleb Wise (138), Blake Mattioda (145), Blake Warren (152), Andrew Evans (160), Gavin Potter (170), Isaiah Page (182) and Trenton Lieurance (285).
