BA Wrestling Clinches Regional Title


wrestling-learn-mistakes-better-ba-blogOn Saturday night, Broken Arrow won the Class 6A East Regionals, winning by 31 points over second-place finisher Sand Springs. Union placed third.

“This was the first round of state,” BA coach Shawn Jones said. “Our goal is to crown as many state champions as possible and bring home that gold trophy. It’s been a few years.”

Broken Arrow won its eighth state championship in 2012, and is hoping for another state victory next week. There will be 11 wrestlers from BA in the state tournament in Oklahoma City.
